WUM – Web User Management

Web User Management (WUM) supports the management of users from external applications, such as: online store, portal, sales support systems for sales representatives, etc., from the level of the SAP system. WUM allows for the authorization of many users using a single SAP ERP system access license. Additionally, thanks to the use of a standard SAP role management mechanism, it allows for the definition of multi-level authorization schemes for individual functionalities of the SAP system and for external applications.

The WUM application is especially recommended for organizations with heterogeneous IT environments, in which there is a need for a central user management system. Product features:

• Easy and quick to install. Product installation is limited to uploading previously prepared transports to the production system. The application does not require additional, time-consuming configuration of the SAP system in order to run it.
• Ergonomic to use. A clear and easy-to-use interface, compliant with SAP system standards, allows you to start using the application without any problems, without the need to conduct previous long-term training courses.
• Ergonomic in operation. The application has been prepared in a way that allows for a multi-station mode of operation. Thanks to the use of the record blocking mechanism, provided by the SAP system, the problem of simultaneous data access has been eliminated.
