UN / EDIFACT – United Nations rules for Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce and Transport, i.e. UN Rules for Electronic Data Interchange in Administration, Trade and Transport. UN rules include a set of international standards for the construction and formatting of EDI messages.

On the basis of the collected rules and principles, messages that correspond to traditional documents are built. EDIFACT is one of the most popular standards for electronic document exchange. The EDIFACT standard includes over 200 messages from various areas and fields.
