IBM ACE

IBM App Connect Enterprise – formerly known as IBM Integration Bus, is an integration broker from the WebSphere enterprise solutions group. In its newest version, it transfers the completed tasks to the cloud to facilitate the maintenance, patching and expansion of the system.

As a solution for enterprises, it places particular emphasis on the mechanisms of data security and user authentication (also taking over and delegating tasks between them).

The package consists of three main components:

• IBM Integration Toolkit – Eclipse-based development tool for designing message flow and transformation artifacts. The developer hooks up to the selected node where everything he creates in a given session will be placed.
• Integration Node – a set of processes for managing the flow, routing and transformation of messages. Systems and applications participating in the transaction are connected to the node.
• User interface – http client that allows you to monitor and manage the data flow in nodes.
