Lobster_data

Lobster_data is a web-based EDI system by Lobster GmbH that is part of the Lobster system. Based on the HTML5 interface, the system is available on any device. It allows you to create, monitor and analyze document processing processes based on ready-made functional modules.

Lobster supports most of the standards available on the market (EDIfact, SAP idoc, XML, X.12, etc.) and allows for their processing and transport in six predefined stages. The input system can be of any type, it can also be treated as a black box with no defined interfaces and communicate only through database queries.

The output format is recognized automatically on the basis of the sample file, without the need to provide schema documents.

A single system instance is able to handle tens of thousands of transformations, the monitoring system allows you to quickly locate problems and delays, and the scalable load balancing system allows for easy expansion on the fly.

The phases of the conversion process:

• receiving data – determination whether data is downloaded according to a specific pattern or in response to events,
• data parsing – preliminary data analysis and preparation for mapping,
• data mapping – a simple drag & drop connection system, which can be extended with complex transformations thanks to ready-made functional modules,
• data archiving – optional step of saving processed data in the database,
• data integration – processing of mapped data into the selected output format
• file sending – selection of the method of communication with the partner / system / target module.
